What's in the view?
- Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House wide view
-Sydney Opera House and the treetops of the Royal Botanic Gardens
-The Aboriginal and Australian Flags, and maybe some people doing the Bridge Walk
-The top of New South Wales Government House
-Above you'll catch some traffic and maybe a train crossing the Harbour Bridge
-Siteworks for the 'Sydney Modern Project' - the new Art Gallery of NSW building
-The Domain Tunnel and the Art Gallery of NSW
-Sydney CBD Skyline, including NSW Parliament
-Centrepoint Tower - currently rebranded as Westfield Tower
-St Mary's Cathedral, which faces onto Hyde Park
-Harbour Bridge South Pylon - sometimes you can see a cruise ship parked there
-Maybe a cockatoo sitting infront of the camera
-North Sydney and Neutral Bay
-Maybe a few cockatoos sitting in a Eucalyptus Tree aka a 'Gum Tree'
-Boats on Sydney Harbour
-The Woolloomooloo finger wharf
-Traffic indicators at the North end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge
This continuous livestream of Sydney Harbour, Australia, is viewed from a North facing aspect. It's a great place to catch flocks of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Lorrikeets, Currawongs and Crows, who hop from tree to tree all day. It's the perfect spot to check Sydney's weather, or a great view to run on a second work monitor. This camera runs on the Eora Nation, of the Gadigal people, and we acknowledge and respect the traditional, and ongoing, custodians of this land and place.

WEGEN BLITZEINSCHLAG IST DIE WEBCAM AUSSER BETRIEB!
WIR ARBEITEN AN DER BEHEBUNG DES SCHADENS!
------------------------

Pope’s Eye Marine Reserve is located within Port Phillip Bay (38.2742° S, 144.7067° E) and is one of the six separate marine areas that make up Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park.
Pope’s Eye was established as part of a series of fortifications designed in the 1870’s to protect Melbourne during the gold rush from potential naval threats. The fort was built out of basalt boulders with the invention to house a cannon. Construction however ceased prior to its completion as improvement in naval gunneries enabled Port Phillip Heads to be protected from then nearby Swan Island fort, Fort Queenscliff and Fort Nepean, making Popes Eye redundant for military purposes.
Since decommission, the site has been extensively colonised by a wide range of marine flora and fauna including temperature species such as kelp forests, resident and transitory fish, sponge gardens, rocky reefs and a colony of Australasian Gannets (Morus serrator).
Pope’s Eye is a popular dive site for local divers, recreational boaters, snorkels and tour operators due to its high level of endemism, picturesque seascape and one of the few recorded colonies of Australasian Gannets breeding on a man- made structure.
We are Southern Ocean Environmental Link (SOEL), an environmental not-for-profit supporting research initiatives to help us to understand our ocean and the pressure it faces. Through sponsorship and fundraising efforts, our mission is to foster and implement unique programs that change humanity's attitude toward the marine environment, ensuring tomorrow's generation are prepared to sustain and restore the health of our ocean.

Solent Scenic Camera will stream throughout the day and pan along the Solent, giving us a much closer view of the very busy shipping lanes through this stretch of water.
our 2nd cam features Ryde Esplanade
